La Manga Bowls Club has over 100 members and meets at the bowling green near to the Tennis Centre. We welcome new members and membership is open to any owner on La Manga Club who is an experienced bowler. Those owners who would like to learn to bowl can sign up for coaching and membership will be awarded as soon as they are up to standard. Equipment can be borrowed from the tennis centre.
We ask members to purchase appropriate dress and footwear (whites must be worn) and also to purchase their own set of bowls within six months. Fees are currently €30 joining fee and €100 annual club fee.
Once you are a member you can book a rink and play bowls at any time. Informal competitions are arranged every Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and there are also a number of club competitions in different formats that can be entered. In addition to bowls, social events are organised. During the winter months we compete against other clubs in the Costa Blanca Bowls Association league.
